YAMAMOTO SPECIAL STEEL Co.,Ltd. was founded in Abeno-ku, Osaka in 1969 by Takuzi Yamamoto and named YAMAMOTO SPECIAL STEEL & CO at the time. The founder started the then company by trading in specially processed stainless tubes with fine bore sand various springs like coil ones. Its previous name was picked out considering the fact that we were doing special processing of a wide variety of metals in our early years, e.g. iron, stainless and alloy steel and so forth. In those years Japan was in the thick of rapid economic growth and overtook West Germany in GDP and became the second largest economy in the world. It must have been an ideal time to trade in stainless steel products. We are where almost half a century passed by from that time. The company has now been acting as agent for KOBELCO STEEL TUBE CO.,LTD and trading in various metal products like seamless stainless tubes.
We don’t think that just providing our products is what we want. Our duty is to satisfy our customers by tailoring our products and service to their requests . Because we have accumulated wide experience and created invaluable networks on this business since the foundation, We believe we can fulfill it.
